ABOUTThis 1974 Honda CL200 Scrambler is powered by a 198cc parallel-twin paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in Candy Riviera Blue. Equipment includes a chrome high-mount exhaust system, both kick and electric starters, dual Keihin carburetors, 18″ wire-spoke wheels, drum brakes, a side stand, a center stand, a steering damper, and a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat. The motorcycle is believed to have been originally sold in Oklahoma and was reportedly placed in storage in 1990 before being acquired by the selling dealer in 2026. This CL200 is now offered in Arizona at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a Clymer repair manual, service records, and a clean California title.
The bodywork is finished in Candy Riviera Blue. Features include a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat, a chrome cross-braced handlebar, a steering damper, turn signals, and both center and side stands. The dual mirrors were replaced in May 2025. The seller notes corrosion on various metal components.
The 18″ wire-spoke wheels feature chrome steel rims and are mounted with 3.00-18 front and 3.50-18 rear Shinko Golden Boy tires that were installed in 2015. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork with black gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by front and rear drums.
Instrumentation includes a Nippon Seiki 110-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer with a 9,500-rpm redline and inset warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 2,100 miles, though total mileage is unknown. The headlight and tachometer cable were replaced in 2015.
The 198cc four-stroke parallel-twin features dual Keihin carburetors and was factory rated at 17 horsepower. The bike is equipped with both kick and electric starters in addition to a chrome high-mount exhaust system with slotted heat shields. The petcock assembly and muffler were replaced and the carburetors were rebuilt in 2015. The battery and gas cap gasket were replaced in May 2025, and the oil was changed in July 2025.
